The international master program Computational Social Systems provides a new generation of scientists with the intersection of computer science, social and cognitive sciences, and ethics. Students of the program will be able to ask social, moral, and ethical questions around the production and use of data in the individual, organizational, and social context using methods from computer science and data science.

For students with a degree in computer science, the program offers the opportunity to apply their technical skills in order to critically evaluate, shape and reflect on the effects of digitalization on individuals, organizations, and the society as a whole. Students with a degree in social science or cognitive science acquire programming and data science expertise, allowing them to analyze social data and its relevance for individuals, organizations, and the society as a whole.
