Knowledge Representation and Autonomous Systems
The course "Knowledge Representation and Autonomous Systems" (KRaAS)
conveys knowledge, skills and competences on knowledge-based
intelligent systems. Starting with an overview of the fundamental
methods in knowledge representation the course presents techniques
from the field of artificial intelligence that are used to develop
autonomous intelligent systems.
Learning Goals
Students will receive knowledge on basic techniques in (logic-based)
knowledge representation and (logical) reasoning. They will learn
about selected methods from the field of artificial intelligence.
These techniques will then be used to design and implement autonmous
intelligent systems and agents. Apart from a theoretical understanding
of the underlying formalisms students will also develop practical
solutions to exemplary problems.
