Stefan Schiffer is a Research Associate and a PostDoc at the Chair for Individual and Technology at the Department of Society, Technology, and Human Factors at RWTH Aachen University.
Stefan Schiffer is doing research in the areas of knowledge-based systems, cognitive robotics and artificial intelligence. He is particularly interested in high-level decision making and the integration of qualitative reasoning and human robot interaction.
Stefan Schiffer receive his Diploma (~M.Sc.) in Computer Science (Dipl.-Inform.) in 2005 from RWTH Aachen University. In 2014, he received his doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) with the Knowledge-Based Systems Group headed by Professor Gerhard Lakemeyer, Ph.D. from RWTH Aachen University. Apart from being a researcher at RWTH, Stefan is also the research coordinator of the Institute for Mobile Autonomous Systems and Cognitive Robotics (MASCOR) at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
